Christmastime

We all gathered at mom and dad's to celebrate Christmas Day!

Christmas jammy pants! :-)

The traditional photo at the top of the stairs on Christmas morning ;-) Are we too old to do this? I think not.

The custom artwork we had created and framed for mom and dad to celebrate God's Faithfulness in 2010 bringing Mom through breast cancer...a gift from the 4 kids :)

Papa and Nana's 2011 Calendar :)

Grandpa made dad a game board!

Jon and Kenny in their Territory Ahead sweatpants - posing with the catalog. classic.

Only my husband would toast with the whole gallon of milk!

Brunch!

Joy to the world, the Lord has come; Let earth receive her King!

Brunch of JOY

We hosted our 2nd Annual Christmas Eve Brunch and loved every minute! From the planning to the preparation to the gathering...it was such a special memory!

Olive Oil Muffins

Mascarpone Stuffed French Toast

With Orange Compote and Hazelnut Whipped Cream!

Both sets of grandparents were there....isn't that incredible? :)

Grandma & Grandpa Weber

Ducky!

Even the dog-children were there! They opened their Christmas presents, too :)

"And there were shepherds living out in the fields nearby, keeping watch over their flocks at night. An angel of the Lord appeared to them, and the glory of the Lord shone around them, and they were terrified. But the angel said to them, “Do not be afraid. I bring you good news of great JOY that will be for all the people. Today in the town of David a Saviour has been born to you; he is Christ the Lord!" -Luke 2:8-11

Snow Dogs

This is Emma & Leona. They are snow dogs!

They like to play in the snow with Daddy while mom takes pictures.
Emma likes to eat snow off the shovel.

Is this a stuffed animal or Leona looking unbelievably adorable?

Call of the Wild?

Daddy's helper.

Kenny is an excellent shoveler.

While Kenny continued to shovel, I made Hazelnut Whipped Cream for our Christmas Eve Brunch :)

The girls really appreciated this endeavor.

Then Leona modeled her new collar. The one we got her because she chewed up six metal ID tags. Six.
And Emma looked cute, which is commonplace.

It was a lovely snow day with the snow dogs :)

Deck The Halls

Just some photos of little Christmas touches around the home before we take them all down! Mostly, because I promised my mother-in-love, Jeanette that I would :-)
